Gavin Translation & Interpretation Services (GTIS)

provide translation/localisation, revision, editing, machine translation post-editing, evaluation, transcription, subtitling, content writing, copywriting, transcreation, interpretation, teaching, typing, voice-over and desktop publishing (DTP) services in general and specialised subject areas. Our Process

  1. Clients contact us via the main e-mail or the contact form, which supports attachment of non-confidential files.
  2. We respond and, where applicable, give a quotation.
  3. Clients give us work/purchase orders or confirmation to proceed.
  4. Our job delivery. For document-related jobs, we are happy to correct them once free of charge per clients’ advice.
  5. Clients make the payment within 30 days from the job delivery or as agreed upon.

Computer-Assisted Translation Tools

In certain instances, we use computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, such as SDL Trados Studio, OmegaT, memoQ, Memsource, Poedit, Wordfast, other cloud-based CAT tools and clients’ platforms. These tools help expedite the translation, ensure consistency and quality, and maintain the document format. They are not the same as machine translation using Google Translate or similar software.
